After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the basics of historical astronomical naviagtion on land and sea. The students will be able to understand and apply methods of satellite based (GNSS,EGNOS) navigation. Last but not least the basic theory in inertial navigation will be adepted and the students preserve a basic knowledge of sensor integration in current navigation applications.
The learning contents are provided by discussing the contents of the accompanyed script. In addition,
a number of case studies are integrated to deepen the understanding of the learnuing contents.
