Aim of course

To communicate skills in handling geodetic projects within the field of space geodesy. In winter semester 2017 the planning and processing of a GNSS campaign will be conducted..

Subject of course

This course deals with a complete project handling in the field of space geodesy. In case of a GNSS project, we start with a feasibility study and cost-analysis and move on to data calculation and reporting. In this context extended GNSS-campaigns are processed. A VLBI campaign includes scheduling, simulation, and the analysis of the simulated observations with the Vienna VLBI Software VieVS.

Additional information

Mit der Veranstaltung sollen insbesondere Fähigkeiten im Bereich der Planung, Koordination und dem Projekt-Managament geschult werden. Alle Arbeiten erfolgen so praxisnah und realistisch wie möglich.
