2017S, UE, 2.0h, 2.5EC

Properties

  • Semester hours: 2.0
  • Credits: 2.5
  • Type: UE Exercise

Aim of course

Economic solution of usual surveying problems: lost points or sightings (buildings, wood, traffic) Better accuracy for technical surveys 'in no time' Simple & rapid geoid estimation in hilly & alpine areas; Reduction of Vertical Deflection errors (5-50cm/km) in a few minutes to ±2"

Subject of course

Higher Economy & Accuracy of Surveying by Sun (stars) and rough Geoid estimations: A) rapid & economic Astro Orientation methods: Azimuth by Sun (polygon improvement ~40%), direction transfer at bad sightings ... B) Vertical Deflection & alpine Geoid effects (up to 20cm/km): Estimation by "slope method" (horizontal prisms/ map 1:200.000); 2-point-method (pocket calc.); Transform into National systems, PC programs.
