2018W, VO, 2.0h, 2.5EC

Properties

  • Semester hours: 2.0
  • Credits: 2.5
  • Type: VO Lecture

Aim of course

Aim of the course is to acquire deepend knowledge on photogrammetric orientation and automation procedures. Next to perspective, photographic images this concerns laser scanning. Especially the mathematical understanding of orientation procedures in photogrammetry will be developed, including modeling of the measurement process beyond the collinearity. In automation standard methods reaching from elementary tasks as point measurement ot derivation of area wide models will be learned.

Subject of course

  • Relative orientation
  • Absolute orientation, chained similarity transformation
  • Bundle block adjustment, aero-triangulation
  • Aero-triangulation with GPS/IMU-support
  • Accuracy of aero-triangulation
  • Automatic methods for point measurement
  • Automatic methods for orientation and model derivation
  • Orientation methods for terrestrial laser scanning
  • Modeling and restitution of terrestrial laser scanning point clouds
