Acquisition of knowledge and basic experience regarding the application of optical and electronic sensors for geodetic monitoring including tests and calibration of theses sensors.
Autocollimation; Laser-Doppler-Interferometry; Determination of zero correction, cyclic error and phase inhomogeneities of an EDM; inclination measurement; test of linearity of an analogue sensor; 3D industry measurement system; highly precise transfer of azimuth through a vertical shaft.
Grading is based on an oral examination and the documentation of the individual assignments.
Basic knowledge of instruments, methods and data processing procedures of Applied Geodesy; practical experience using a total station; MATLAB; inclination to experimental work in the laboratory
