Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the composition of the lower atmosphere and to formulate the fundamental physical processes in weather and climate. They have basic knowledge on the instruments and satellites to measure meteorological variables and processes. The students have knowledge on the most important drivers and impacts of climate change as well as on the principles of  numerical wheather and cliamte forecasting.
