After successful completion of the course, students are able to read and to understand a scientific article, to present the most important aspects of the article to the collegues in the course of 20 min presentation using comprehesible slides and to participate actively in a discussion afterwards.

Autonomous study of a scientific topic in the field of Geoinformation by reading recent publications. Elaboration of an oral presentation and concise handouts. Oral presentation. Each student will be accompanied by a supervisor.

In the first meeting the topics will be assigned to the attendees and the presentation dates will be fixed.Attendance at all presentations of the chosen seminar is obligatory.
