This lecture focuses on empirical methods for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) based on the example of mobile geographic information systems. This includes (but is not neccessesarily restricted to):

This course takes place exclusively online, in accordance with the directive of the rectorate. However, seminar room 127 is available during class time to listen to the course online. Please pay strict attention to the capacit in effect at the time.
Oral exam (30 Min.) ONLINE, based on Bloom's Taxonomy. Please note: Depending on situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, it may be possible to sit the oral exams face-to-face.
No special prio knowledge required. Attendees should have an interest in conducting human subject experiments involving mobile geographic information systems.
We strongly recommend to sit lecture and lab within the same semester.
