Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to solve examples related to the field of Satellite Geodesy on their own. They also learn how to reasses, check, and present their solutions.

Subject of course

Examples concerning equations of motions, pertubation theory, orbit types (GEO, MEO, LEO, ...), signal propagation, parameter estimation in satellite geodesy and technique specific error sources will be discussed and solved.

Teaching methods

The examples will be briefly discussed and then solved in groups of two. At the beginning of every exercise, the solutions of the previous example will be presented.
