The students know and understand the most important principles and methods used to solve basic problems in surveying. They are able to implement practically simple sureying tasks. Furthermore, they know the performance potential of engineering geodesy and are able to link and integrate it into civil engineering tasks.
Course content: Introduction, Coordinate Systems, Levelling, Total Stations, Terrestrial Laser Scanning, Basics of statistical processing of measurements, Methods of point determination, Surveying, Setting-out, Deformations Measurements, Machine Control and Guidance.
Practical exercises: Levelling, Free stationing of a Total Station
