After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the basis of geodynamic processes shaping the Earth's surface as well as the way that geophysical methods can be used to investigate the changes in the structure and composition of the Earth's interior.
This lecture is in presence, and the slides used in each lecture will be provided in advance through the TUWEL page of the lecture and can be used as a script. Demonstrations of some important concepts will be conducted using laboratory and field instruments.
The lecture is evaluated through a short presentation (15 minutes) at the end of the semester - the students can work this presentation individually or in small groups (up to three persons per team). The presentation refers to the explanation of a geological feature or activity selected by each team.
