Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • name the steps of a tender procedure,
  • explain the text of the call for tenders,
  • make hourly and cost estimates,
  • prepare an offer, and
  • defend this offer.

Subject of course

Analog to the contents of the lectures

Preparation of offers on the basis of announced tenders from practical experience:

  • Analysis of a published tender text and performance profile
  • Development of a calculation and an offer in teamwork (consortium formation, bidding consortium)
  • Simulation of an offer opening, presentation and discussion of the offers
  • Comparison and discussion of market-defined real allocations

Creation of offers of standardized services:

  • Creation of an offer according to cost calculation and personnel-related service classes

Teaching methods

Explanation and discussion of the task, group work, presentation and critical debate

Additional information

The lab sessions will be held in presence. Upon prior notice, individual sessions can be held in distance learning mode if required by the circumstances.
