Aim of course

Capability in using theoretical knowledge for generating in a teamwork a product for a practical application by utilizing a set of  remote sensing data. Capability of presenting the results to an audience and to defend the results in a discussion and to summarize them in a written technical report.

Subject of course

Theoretical introduction in a few specific topics, such as, for example, applications in urban environment and in forestry. Thereafter, work on your own by carrying out practical examples in the two afore mentioned fields. Final presentation of the results, including discussion. Technical report, which describes in details the practical work.

Examination modalities

Performance in carrying out the practical examples, in participating in discussions. evaluation of the quality of the technical report. Although the work is carried out in small groups, the members of a group my be evaluated differently, dependent on their engagement and their background knowledge in discussions.
