After successful completion of the course, students are able to capture objects using laser scanning or image matching. Additionally, students are able to orientate and further process the capture point could by different processing methods.
The examples will be processed with OPALS during the course and further analysed by the students in small groups.
Introduction and enhanced processing with the software package OPALS, several examples will be computed during the course, self-depend execution of two exercises in small groups (exercise 1: point cloud acquisition; exercise 2: processing and analysis)
The course is a mixture of hybrid events and optional consultation hours. If possible, all lectures will be held in presence, but are also broadcasted via Zoom. The first hybrid lecture (see course dates below) is compulsory for all students. Live events and consultation hours take place at the normal course dates (Tuesday 11:00). Live recorded lectures will be made available on TUWEL after the lecture. For each lecture a obligatory multiple choice self assessment has to be conducted (the results, however, are not considered for grading)
