After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain scientific research questions by studying scientific papers and to answer those questions according to the state-of-the-art. They are able to research literature independetly. They are able to present the research topic in a given presentation mode, including giving an unscripted talk. They are able to defend their statements and to discuss them in depth.

Information to all students: Information about the schedule, content and allocation of topics will be given on 11.3.2020, 10-11, SEM126.

The course doesnot require class times every week but include 5 assignements/home work.

Local Students will need to group according to the schedule and structure of the seminars of the other department research groups, while the International MSc students don't required to do so.

Supervisor grades based on

• degree of independent work of the student in covering the topic,
• discussions for preparation,
• quality of the presentation and
• answers to questions during the discussion.

Enrolment will be confirmed in the first class at 7.3.2018.
