Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply Laguerre
and Möbius geometry and the respective transformations, to solve
geometric problems concerning families of circles in the plane or spheres in space.

  • geometric optics: caustic and anticaustic,
  • offset curves and surfaces,
  • developable surfaces,
  • canal surfaces, Dupin cyclides.
