Knowledge of basic methods of engineering statistics.

Engineering Statistics consits of quality control, reliability analysis, and related graphical methods (probability plots). In the course first priciples of quality control are introduced, especially sampling plans, control charts, and methods for fuzzy data. After that foundations of reliability theory are introduced, especially lifetime distributions, estimation of lifetime distributions, reliability of systems, reliability estimation in case of fuzzy information. The last part contains statistical diagrams and nomograms. Especially probability papers, nomograms for the approximation of distributions, nomograms for confidence intervals, and for special experimental designs.
