After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently develop scientifically results. In the course the basic mathematical concepts of fuzzy are discussed, and some applications will be given.

## Subject of course

Fuzzy sets were introduced as generalization of classical sets in 1951 by Karl Menger. Based on this extensive researc work was done in the field of so-called fuzzy models. In the course the basic mathematical concepts of fuzzy are discused, and some applications will be given.
