Students should apply their acquired knowledge in maths, statistics and computer technology in the framework of a practical project.
A problem in the framework of applied statistics, mathematics and computer science should be solved. Usually such problems are parts of larger projects. Therefore it will be emphasized that work ist done in a systematic and correct way. Examples are: adapting and testing of large software packages, design of new modules, data analysis and so on.
