An entry into the subject Operations Research by dealing with up-to-date research questions is supposed to allow students to subsequently write their master's theses in that scientific area.

Our scientific working group deals with various problems in Operations Research/Management Science and Control Systems. Lots of new questions frequently appear when research work is going on. As there will never be enough wo/manpower to answer all of them, the institute offers students to participate in its research activities: the "AKOR Project in Operations Research" (five hours a week). Successfully finished works will be presented at the institute Web-Server or even submitted to scientific journals.
