Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • explain the private law basics of insurance and apply it to specific problems,
  • explain the rights and obligations of the contractual partners in detail and assess their scope,
  • explain special regulations for individual lines of insurance,
  • explain legal regulations of insurance brokerage, the pre-contractual stage, the conclusion of the contract and the termination of the contract and
  • apply these on the basis of legal texts and case law.
