Aim of course

Link between the knowledge which is taught in the lecture "Theory of actuarial mathematics" and the demand of the professional qualifications of the actuary, taking in consideration the profitableness in the private insurance sector.

Subject of course

Organisation of a private insurance company concentrating on life-assurance. Tasks of an actuary in the private insurance sector. In this regard the following chapters: sales organisation, scheme of operations, calculation of rates, actuarial valuation, overview of the tasks of an actuary outside the insurance industry.
