After successful completion of the course, students are able to master basic notations in set theory such as ordinals and cardinals and apply Gödel's constructible universe as well as large cardinals, e.g. in the context of the continuum hypothesis.
Ordinals, cardinals, absoluteness, stationary sets, constructibility, large cardinals, ultrapowers.
The students solve exercises by themselves. Those exercises are then presented and discussed in class.
