After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently familiarize themselves with a topic in geometry or a related field (e.g., differential geoemtry, discrete differential geometry, applied geometry, projective geometry, non-euclidean geometry) and to present the topic in the form of a bachelor thesis.
After successful completion of the course, students are able to write and present a bachelor thesis on a topic form the fields of differential, projective, non-euclidean, or applied geometry, which they have studied independently and in detail.
The topic of the thesis must be discussed with the thesis supervisor.
Individual meetings with the supervisor. Instructions for literature research and presentation of mathematical topics. Feedback on written extracts or parts of the the thesis.
Instructions for literature research and how to present mathematical topics. Correction of preliminary version of the bachelor thesis. Individual meetings with the supervisor.
Talk and bachelor thesis.
