After successful completion of the course, students are able to formulate and prove important geometric inequalities. Furthermore, they can derive corresponding functional counterparts using various methods.
Minkowski sum of convex bodies, Brunn–Minkowski inequality, Prékopa–Leindler inequality, polar bodies and volume product, Blaschke–Santaló inequality and its functional version for log-concave functions, projection bodies, Petty projection inequality, affine Sobolev inequality
