After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply geometric operations and transformations to model and visualize geometric objects within a CAD-program. For that purpose the students use geometric properties of primitives, polyhedrae, curves and surfaces. The students are able to apply geometric properties of free form curves for intuitive modeling techniques.
Descriptive Geometry deals with basic knowledge about polyhedral objects, curves curved surfaces and their intersections, occurring in applications. The geometric functionality of CAD-programs enable the construction, modeling and visualization of these objects.
The lecture will take place at a lecture hall.
