After successful completion of the course, students are able to mathematically analyze and describe geometric shapes related to computer graphics, digital fabrication etc. They are particularly able to explain and apply algoithms for generating freeform curves and freeform surfaces. Furthermore, they are able to use methods for interpolation and approximation as well as subdivision algorithms.
