Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain basic concepts from integral geometry (valuations, intrinsic volumes, invariant measures on Grassmannians, ...) Students can formulate and prove Hadwiger's characterization theorem and Crofton's formula and deduce the principal kinematic formula.
