Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

* define and recognize group actions and combinatorial species,

* relate representation theoretic and combinatorial operations on combinatorial species,

* in simple cases, read off a construction for a combinatorial species given an expression for its generating function,

* decompose a combinatorial species into its atomic components.
