Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to present recent developments and techniques from universal algebra.This includes in particular recent results on equations that can hold in general algebras and the methods to obtain them. The seminar will prepare students for research in this  field.

 

Subject of course

The structure of general algebras is investigated via fixed points of actions of the algebra on graphs.

Teaching methods

Students present and discuss specific topics.
