Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement important algorithms from the field of Applied Geometry (like surface analysis, curve and surface reconstruction, elementary mesh processing, registration, etc.) in Python.

Subject of course

Students gain further theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of applied geometry by solving several smaller programming tasks and completion of a larger project.

Teaching methods

Discussion/Presentation of algorithmic methods and data structures in the area applied geometry.
