## Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to solve problems of applied geometry. The students know how to implement and apply the basic algorithms of computational geometry. The students have advanced knowledge in computer aided geometric design (B-spline curves and surfaces) and are able to implement simple geometric optimization problems.

Interpolation and approximation of discrete point data; Freeform curves and surfaces; Bezier curves; B-spline curves; rational Beziercurves; tensor product surfaces; curve fitting; triangulations; Voronoi diagram and Delaunay triangulation; convex hull.
