Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to solve problems of planar and spatial geometry
with standard methods. The students know main geometric properties of curves and surfaces, as well as a
large number of particular examples which are relevant for the teacher's training.
The students become very skilled users of CAD-programs concerning constructions and visualization
of geometric objects.

Subject of course

Central projection.
Polyhedra.
Ruled surfaces, developable surfaces and more general kinematic surfaces.
Freeform curves and surfaces.
Envelopes.
