After successful completion of the course, students are able to prove basic results of geometric measure theory. They are able to derive simple properties of the Hausdorff measure and the perimeter by their definitions and can discuss geometric variational problems.

Working on exercise problems, presentation and discussion in the exercise group

The recitation classes will take place every other week on Wednesday, 5:30-7:00 pm.

The first session will be on October 23rd, in Besprechungszimmer, Inst. 104-6, Freihaus, 7.Stock, grün.
All further dates will be fixed after the first recitation class.

The exercise sheets will be put online in TISS in the category 'Documents' of the course. At the beginning of each class you can tick off all exercises you have prepared and are able to present on the blackboard. For a passing grade it is necessary to have marked 50% of all exercises.

If you should not be able to attend a class, please write an Email where you shortly give the reason for your absence.
