After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe the complete solution of the isoperimetric problem and its proof. They know the basic notions of geometric measure theory and Steiner symmetrizaiton and are able to apply them in geometric and analytic problems.
Geometric measure theory (Hausdorff measures, coarea-formula, Besicovitch theorem, Lebesgue points), isoperimetric problems, Steiner symmetrization.
