This lecture concentrates on goal-oriented lesson planning under the consideration of didactic principles, long term lesson goals and connections within one subject and cross curriculum teaching. The difference between subject allowed simplification and unacceptable falsifying of mathematical contents should be discussed and therefore lead to the recognition of the necessity of solid subject knowledge. The usage of various teaching methods and media will be evaluated. As the lecture METHODOLOGY concentrates on theoretical principles, the practical exercises in the actual planning of lessons should be the emphasis in the constructive dimension of the lecture.
