Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to present a  Bachelor-thesis on a subject of Discrete Mathematics they have studied in detail and  give talks to an audience of experts about  the contents of their thesis . Moreover, they will often have gained experiences in implementing mathematical procedures on a computer.

Subject of course

The topic of the bachelor thesis will be discussed with the advisor.

Teaching methods

Instructions for literature research and how to present demanding mathematical  contents. Correctives in oral presentations and preliminary assessments of written documents. Individual meetings with the advisors.

Die Vorträge dauern jeweils 20-25 Minuten und werden an Montagen im Zeitintervall 11:00-13:00 abgehalten. Die genauen Daten werden in der Vorbesprechung fixiert.
