Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • Distinguish, classify and compare elementary functions.
  • Solve elementary equations and interpret their results.
  • Use derivation rules to calculate derivatives.
  • Use differential calculus to calculate tangents and perform a curve discussion.
  • Perform methods of integral calculus in various example situations.
  • Capture and apply concepts of vector and matrix calculus.
  • Develop and solve basic tasks of vector and matrix calculus.
  • Interpret and classify number sequences.
  • Develop and solve tasks on sequences and series.
  • Differentiate, classify, compare, and qualify concepts of probability theory.
  • Develop and solve examples of probability calculus.
