Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply modern analytic/numeric methods of partial differential equations from different origins and to prepare and present their own mathematic results for scientific talks.

Subject of course

Nonlinear partial differential eqations in physics and biology, e.g. reaction diffusion equations and cross-diffusion systems.

Teaching methods

Presentation at the blackboard, presentation with beamer, followed by a scientific discussion.
