Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

In the lecture, the students get a basic understanding of the theory of Hardy
spaces. In particular, the students are able to apply this theory to study
spectral properties of contractions on Hilbert spaces. This knowledge will be
connected to the spectral theory of bounded self adjoint operators, which was
already studied in previous courses.
