Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze complex mathematical models involving differential equations, typically in conjunction with the development of appropriate numerical algorithms and codes, including documentation of such work in form of a pre-scientific document.

Subject of course

A project work is to be carried out in the field of analysis and/or numerical methods. The subject of the work will be in the scope of the reaserch activities of the institute, for typically concerning ordinary or partial differential equations.

Teaching methods

Checking literature and application or generalization of known analytical techniques and/or numerical methods to the given problem.

Mode of examination
