Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to write a Bachelor thesis to end their Bachelor studies. The students learn the basics of scientific working (citations, proving theorems).

Subject of course

Scientific working in the field of partial differential equations. The topic of the project will be chosen together with the students.

Subject areas include the analysis of PDEs, modelling with PDEs, calculus of vairations, (Bayesian) inverse problems, and optimal control.
