After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand, interpret and communicate fundamental results on selected probabilistic models. In particular they are aquainted with basic reasonings of statistical physics.
Basic stochastic models for interacting particle and spin systems (Ising, Curie-Weiss, Kac); Gibbs measures and Glauber dynamics; phase transitions; Brownian motion and Langevin equation, etc.
