Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • Define terminology and be able to reproduce mathematical relationships.
  • Using methods and concepts of system simulation and being able to adapt them in different situations.
  • Reproduce numerical methods and procedures of system simulation and adapt those to given situations.
  • Discuss aspects of applied modelling in simulation models and simulation environments, as well as their influence, qualitatively and quantitatively.

Teaching methods

Panel presentation for an introduction to the facts and presentation of the concepts and methods. First introductory examples support the introduction and deepening and bridge the tasks in the related exercises.
