Aim of course

The participants gain the basic knowledge of how to program in C++, where the particular focus is on the implementation of numerical problems.

Subject of course

Object oriented design and programming in C++: variables and standard data types, pointers, functions, and recursion, call by value vs. call by reference, loops, objects and classes (resp. structures), operator overloading, inheritance and virtual, templates

Additional information

This course is obligatory for students of the MSc studies "Mathematical Modelling in Engineering".
