Tafelvortrag zur Einführung in den Sachverhalt und Darstellung der mathematischen Konzepte, Sätze und Lösungsmethoden. Erste einführende Beispiele unterstützen die Einführung und Vertiefung und stellen die Brücke zu den Aufgaben in den zugehörigen Übungen dar.

Die Lehrveranstaltung wird bis Anfang Juni geblockt mit der Studienrichtung ET und TPH gemeinsam abgehalten und im Juni werden die Inhalte des letzten Drittels behandelt.

Gutes Beherrschen der Rechentechniken der Schulmathematik (Oberstufe AHS, BHS oder gleichwertige berufsbildende höhere Schulen).
Zur Auffrischung und zum Ausgleichen etwaiger Defizite wird explizit auf den Angleichungskurs Mathematik der TU Wien verwiesen (siehe vorausgehende Lehrveranstaltungen). Diese Inhalte werden in der LVA kurz wiederholt, im Wesentlichen aber vorausgesetzt.
