After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• Define key notions and to state key mathematical results.
  
• Be able to use the methods and concepts of the content subareas  to work on corresponding exercise problems.
  
• Apply general results and computational methods to specific problems and exercises and to modify them slightly for the concrete task.
• Establish relationships with the topics offered in the previous (mathematical) courses.

Lecture to introduce, develop and  consolidate mathematical concepts, key results and computational methods. Introductory and more advanced examples further understanding and build a bridge to the tasks in the associated exercises.

Die Vorlesung wird geblockt (4 Stunden pro Woche) bis Ende des Kalenderjahres angeboten. Die Kommunikation zur Vorlesung erfolgt vollständig über den gemeinsamen TUWEL-Kurs von Vorlesung, Übung und Repetitorium. Nach aktuellem Stand findet die Vorlesung in Präsenz statt. Eine Anmeldung zur Vorlesung ist aktuell nicht notwendig. Sie können sich selber zu Beginn in den TUWEL-Kurs einschreiben. Für die Vorlesungsprüfung ist eine Anmeldung erforderlich.
