After successful completion of the course, students are able to correctly apply the central concepts and computational techniques of the course. This includes (to a lesser degree) the ability to understand and explain these concepts and techniques. The following topics are included:
- real and complex numbers
- solving equations and inequalities
- elementary vector calculus and geometry
- limits and convergence
- sequences and series
- functions (general functions, elementary functions, continuity)
- differential calculus for functions of a real variable
- integral calculus for functions of a real variable.
Real and complex numbers, elementary vector calculus and geometry, sets and functions, limits and convergence, sequences and series, functions of a real variable, differential- and integral calculus for functions of a real variable
There will be a written exam. The exam contains problems which have to be solved and questions concerning the theory.
Attention: The course is part of StEOP of ET.
