Aim of course

Analysis of the large-time behavior of diffusion processes and parabolic PDEs (including degenerate PDEs)

Subject of course

diffusion processes, stationary measures, entropy as a Lyapunov functional, log Sobolev inequalities, quasilinear diffusion equations, cross diffusion equations, large-time behavior of discrete equations

MEETING TIMES: This course takes place partly at the TU (Monday 16:00-17:30) and aprtly at the Uni (Tuesday 9:45-10:45): 2.10. at TU, remaining Oktober-appointments at Uni.
