After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• precisely formulate essential analytical statements
• prove theorems of real analysis
• work mathematically with terms that were tought in the lecture

Elementary set theory, systems of numbers, sequences and series of real numbers, functions of one real variable, continuity, differential calculus in one variable

The lecture starts in the third week of the semester since in the first two weeks the VU Introduction to working mathematically is held instead.
